Lifetime coverage continues while the original residential owner owns and occupies the home.
The base warranty is not transferable.
Lifetime system coverage requires a qualifying fiberglass door system assembled with genuine Therma-Tru components. Normal wear, installation labor, third-party components and hardware finishes are excluded or separately governed.
Entry Doors

The basic door-unit warranty transfers once to a subsequent owner-occupant when the transfer is completed online within 30 days after ownership changes.
Lifetime means while the eligible homeowner owns and occupies the residence. Specialty glass, hardware, frames and accessories may have separate terms.
Exterior Wood Doors

Original purchaser only.
Not transferable. Finishing, sealing, overhang and maintenance requirements apply.
Interior & Exterior Wood Doors

Not transferable. All six sides and every field cut must be sealed as required.
Security Doors

The published certificate does not clearly state a transfer right.

Siding, Trim & Soffit

The substrate warranty transfers for the years remaining in the original 30-year term.
The warranty clock does not restart. ColorPlus is a separate finish warranty.
Field-applied paint is not covered by the ColorPlus factory-finish warranty.
Manufacturer warranties cover qualifying products and components. AMG’s written workmanship warranty separately covers qualifying installation-related defects under the terms of the customer’s AMG agreement.
