Question 1

Where does AMG Doors & Windows install?

Accepted Answer

We serve the entire nine-county San Francisco Bay Area — from San Jose and Palo Alto through Oakland, Berkeley, Walnut Creek, Danville, and out to Livermore, Concord, and Antioch.

Question 2

Do you offer free in-home consultations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every consultation is free, no-pressure, and run by an installer (not a commissioned closer). We bring real product samples to your home so you can compare in your actual light.

Question 3

What does a window or door replacement cost in the Bay Area?

Accepted Answer

Pricing depends on size, frame material, glass package, and installation type. Most Bay Area homeowners see windows from ~$900–$2,500 per opening installed and entry door systems from ~$3,500–$15,000+. We provide itemized pricing during your consultation — no surprises.

Question 4

How long does the project take?

Accepted Answer

Most custom orders ship within 4–8 weeks of your final measure. On-site installation is typically 1–3 days for window replacement and a single day for most door swaps. Full re-sides run 2–4 weeks.

Question 5

Do you handle permits?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We pull all required Bay Area permits and coordinate inspections. You don't have to chase city hall.

Question 6

Is financing available?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We offer flexible financing through partner lenders, including 0% intro options for qualified buyers. See our financing page for current programs.

Question 7

How do I schedule an in-home design consultation?

Accepted Answer

Call or text 877-768-7570 or use the scheduling form on any page to book your in-home design consultation. AMG will help compare product samples, measurements, and warranty options during the visit.

Question 8

What manufacturer warranties do you carry?

Accepted Answer

We're direct dealers for Anlin (lifetime), Andersen, ProVia, Therma-Tru, James Hardie (30-year substrate), Titan, Rogue Valley, Builders Choice, and PlyGem — and we register every warranty on your behalf.

Question 9

Are you licensed and insured?

Accepted Answer

Yes — California State Contractor's License CSLB #1001536, fully bonded, with general liability and workers' comp on every job.

Question 10

What if I have an HOA?

Accepted Answer

We work with Bay Area HOAs constantly. We provide submission packages, color/style documentation, and manufacturer cut sheets for HOA approval.

Question 11

Can I match my new windows or doors to my existing trim?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We coordinate frame colors, interior finishes, glass styles, and trim profiles with what's already on your home — and can quote matching trim or door upgrades when needed.

Question 12

Do you do contractor and builder supply?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We have a dealer-direct supply program for Bay Area general contractors, remodelers, and house flippers — see our Contractor Supply page.
