01Is AMG Doors & Windows an authorized ProVia dealer?
Yes. AMG Doors & Windows is the authorized ProVia dealer and certified installer for the San Francisco Bay Area — covering ProVia entry doors (Signet®, Heritage™, Embarq®, Legacy Steel™), ComforTech™ vinyl windows, and Endure® storm doors. Every product is built-to-order at ProVia's Ohio plant and installed by our trained crews.
02How much does a ProVia entry door or window cost installed in the Bay Area?
Most installed ProVia entry-door projects in the Bay Area run between $4,200 and $16,000 depending on collection (Heritage™ fiberglass, Signet® fiberglass, Embarq® entry, Legacy Steel™), glass, sidelites, transom, and hardware. ComforTech™ window projects are quoted per opening with full-frame replacement labor itemized. Dealer-direct pricing — no markup.
03What's the difference between Signet, Heritage, Embarq, and Legacy Steel?
Signet® is the flagship fiberglass line — deepest wood grain, true 1-3/4″ stile-and-rail construction. Heritage™ is a smooth or wood-grain fiberglass with broad design flexibility. Embarq® is the most energy-efficient entry door ProVia builds (R-19 core). Legacy Steel™ is a 20-gauge steel door for value-driven projects without sacrificing security.
04Are ProVia ComforTech windows good for California climates?
Yes. ComforTech™ vinyl windows use ProVia's warm-edge spacer, dual or triple-pane low-E glass, and argon/krypton gas fills — engineered to outperform Title 24 requirements across every California climate zone. Available in double-hung, casement, awning, sliding, picture, and specialty shapes.
05How long does a ProVia order take?
ProVia builds every door and window to order. Lead times typically run 4–8 weeks for entry doors and ComforTech™ windows from order confirmation. Installation per opening is usually completed in a single day.
06What warranty comes with a ProVia product installed by AMG Doors & Windows?
ProVia provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty on entry doors (transferable once) and ComforTech™ windows including glass breakage coverage on most lines. Because we are the authorized installer, the manufacturer warranty stays fully intact — plus our own multi-year workmanship warranty on installation.
