Project Overview
A wider, brighter way out to the patio
The family room of this San Jose home opens straight onto a covered patio, so the patio door is the piece of the house the family touches most. The homeowners wanted an opening that felt light and modern, glass that kept the room comfortable in the afternoon sun, and a panel that moves easily every single day.
AMG Doors & Windows measured the opening, then supplied and installed a two-panel Anlin Malibu gliding patio door in a white vinyl frame with dual-pane insulated glass and a full-height sliding screen.
Inside, the white frame disappears against the trim and lets the glass do the work. Outside, the door sits clean and square in the stucco wall above the existing landing. The result is a brighter family room, an easier path to the patio, and a door built to keep gliding for years.
